"Annie Leibovitz: Life Through a Lens" at MOAFL

"Annie Leibovitz: Life Through a Lens": Fans of the celebrity photographer may recall her high-profile photo retrospective earlier this year at the Norton Museum of Art, unveiling images of Yoko Ono and John Lennon and one that showed David Byrne dressed like a tree. But this documentary, directed by Annie's sister, Barbara Leibovitz, focuses on the woman behind the camera. Tracing the photographer's transition from Rolling Stone to Vanity Fair, and later to her personal relationships and motherhood, the film interviews her mentors and photographic subjects for insight on the celebrated visual artist. 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday at the Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale's Horvitz Auditorium (1 E. Las Olas Blvd.). $7-$14. 954-262-0227 or — Phillip Valys
