Music

Face to Face: The veteran punk quartet is coming to Fort Lauderdale's Revolution Live Wednesday night with a new album in tow, "Three Chords and a Half Truth," a thrashing, midtempo throwback to the Clash and the Jam. With its 1970s-reminiscent sound, the release may be the band's most-aggressive move yet to distance itself from the Southern California punk scene that produced it. (The scene also produced Blink-182, so we're hardly surprised by this decision.) The band will perform at 7 p.m. with openers Teenage Bottlerocket, Blacklist Royals and Joshua Black Wilkins. $17.50-$20. 954-449-1025 or JointheRevolution.net. — Phillip Valys
