Bourbon, Beer and 'Cue: The weekly barbecue series at the Dutch at W South Beach Hotel and Residences returns Wednesday night. Memphis-style barbecue is up first, with wet- and dry-rubbed ribs, pulled-pork nachos, coleslaw, mac 'n' cheese and cornbread. Carolina-style barbecue will be served June 12, Kansas City is up June 19, and it's Texas' turn on June 26. The $30-per-person, family-style dinners continue Wednesdays through July. Bobby Caldwell: The big-band man and prolific, blue-eyed soulmaker may be best known for his 1978 hit "What You Won't Do for Love." But the onetime Miami musician, who released a new album in 2012 titled "House of Cards" (available on, has composer credits on innumerable movie soundtracks over the decades ("Ghostbusters II," "Back to School," "S1m0ne"), and wrote rousing R&B and smooth-jazz tracks for Chicago, Boz Scaggs, Amy Grant and Neil Diamond. Brighton Beach Memoirs: Stage Door Theatre in Coral Springs stages Neil Simon's first installment of his autobiographical series with "Brighton Beach Memoirs" (which the playwright followed up with "Biloxi Blues" and "Broadway Bound"). Set in 1937 Brooklyn, the play centers on teenager Eugene's struggles with puberty and his extended family, all cramped into a small apartment. 2 p.m. at Stage Door Theatre, 8036 W.
