Beer

Lush Life live: Maria Murriel, who pens the Lush Life blog on South Florida.com, will host a Florida-centric beer event form 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Riverside Market in Fort Lauderdale. Along with $5 draft beer and $5 appetizers, the event will include all kinds of beer-related swag. Beer drinkers will get a taste of the current state of craft beer in Florida. Boynton's Due South will be represented with two IPAs. Hop Gun IPA will be among the offerings from the new Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park. Free with registration at SoFla.EventBrite.com. Music

Gold Dust Lounge: The twangy outfit fronted by guitarist Russell Mofksy looks backward and forward at the same time, which is much easier with a drink in your hand. And that's the thing: This is great drinking music. The Betsy Hotel (1440 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach) understands this and will offer drink specials during the 8 p.m. show. AmericanaramA Festival of Music: At 72, Bob Dylan is still rolling thunder, as evidenced by his powerful 2012 album "Tempest," his best work since 2001's "Love and Theft," and this traveling roadshow featuring his disciples in My Morning Jacket and Wilco. Beginning tonight at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, the tour will last six weeks and rotate opening acts along the way, including this evening's promised acoustic set by the Grateful Dead's Bob Weir. 5:30 p.m. $32.10-$95.
