Jimmy Greene: On Thursday night, jazz saxophonist Jimmy Greene will perform to benefit a fund he and his wife, Nelba Marquez-Greene, created in honor of their daughter, Ana Grace, after she died in 2012 in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn. The Ana Grace Project supports the cultural institution Artist's Collective and the nonprofit Klingberg Family Centers, which offers treatment programs and therapy for families in distress. Although Greene has been performing "Ana Grace" a song he wrote for his daughter in 2008, he says he’s not sure how he'll feel about playing it tonight. "I'll bring it to rehearsal, and if I feel like it's going to work, then, yes, we'll do it," Greene told the Sun Sentinel. 7 and 9 p.m. at Jazziz Nightlife (201 Plaza Real) in Boca Raton. $25-$45. 561-300-0730 or - Barbara Corbellini Duarte
