Miley Cyrus offered plenty of hits, but few shocks, during Art Basel concert

Could boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger be a good influence on Miley Cyrus?

During a concert Wednesday night at the Raleigh hotel, the former "Hannah Montana" star was on somewhat good behavior as Schwarzenegger watched the concert from a nearby cabana.

Sure, she appeared to smoke pot onstage (and even offered hits to a few fans). And, yes, she admitted to having a few drinks earlier in the night. But something was missing.

Where was the notorious booty shake? And the famous tongue she’s so fond of wagging in front of everyone all the time?

Cyrus dropped plenty of F-bombs, but few shockers.

Her setlist mostly consisted of covers. The “Wrecking Ball” singer showed off her vocal skills with a rendition of Rick James’ "Superfreak," Johnny Cash’s "A Boy Named Sue," Led Zeppelin’s "I Can’t Quit You Baby" and the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds."

Wearing her one costume of the night (a silver wig, slinky leotard and aqua eye shadow), she played piano during "Twinkle Song," messing up a few lines due to nerves. "I’m really scared," she admitted. "I’ve never performed this live before."

Before the emotionally charged song, Cyrus talked about her music, her friendship with artist Jeffrey Deitch, and how she overcame a "sh---y" time in her life after the death of her dog Floyd, who passed away earlier this year.

Despite her bad-girl rep, Cyrus had a childlike twinkle in her eyes on Wednesday. It was a refreshing sight.
