The Normal Heart: At the beginning of the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s, Larry Kramer co-founded a gay men's health organization and wrote novels and plays about AIDS and HIV in the gay community. In his play "The Normal Heart," Kramer shares his personal history with the virus, and the difficulties he encountered while creating awareness about it. The play became a Tony-winning Broadway production. The Stonewall National Museum will present a staged reading 7 p.m. Friday at the Broward County Main Library Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale. $30, all proceeds will go to the World AIDS Museum. 954-559-6512 or - Barbara Corbellini Duarte
