Teachers and school employees get in free at Miami Seaquarium on Saturday and Sunday for "Totally Teachers Weekend."
South Florida public and private teachers and employees get in for free and up to four guests receive 50 percent off admission, too. Bring a valid school ID or pay stub and picture ID to the ticket window to get the deal.
The theme park is celebrating its 50th anniversary and has a new Caribbean-themed Flipper dolphin show. There will be freebies and giveaways, too.
Read Conmigo, a bilingual literacy program that promotes reading in English and Spanish, will hand out free books. Plus, teachers may enter to win a free field trip to Miami Seaquarium. Stop by the Education Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to enter. One trip will be awarded each day.
