The relentlessly popular band fun. – they of the infuriating punctuation – on Monday announced a summer tour that will include a Sept. 18 stop at Mizner Park Amphitheatre in Boca Raton. Tegan and Sara are the openers.
The New York-based trio is nominated for six Grammy Awards at Sunday night’s ceremony, during which they’ll also perform, including song of the year for “We Are Young” (with Janelle Monáe), album of the year for “Some Nights” and best new artist.
Tickets are $39.50 and go on sale at noon Feb. 16 at all Ticketmaster outlets.
A portion of the ticket sales will benefit The Ally Coalition, a partnership between fun. and designer Rachel Antonoff to encourage the fashion and entertainment communities to support LGBT equality.
