If you hear yourself saying something like “Michael Buble? Maybe it’s me, man, but I don’t get it,” be advised that, yes, it’s you.
With the just-released “To Be Loved” becoming the fourth consecutive Buble album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard pop chart, fans worldwide have taken notice. The Canadian singer’s current European tour includes 10 sold-out performances at the 17,000-capacity O2 Arena in London in June, and five nights at the 10,000-capacity O2 in Dublin in July.
Not surprisingly, Buble will then turn his attention to the U.S., announcing a 40-city U.S. fall concert tour that will hit the BB&T Center in Sunrise on Nov. 2.
The announcement came as part of a publicity blitz this week that left no stone unturned and no sofa unsat on, with appearances on “Today,” “Kelly & Michael,” “The Ellen Show,” “Nightline,” “Dancing With the Stars” and “Chelsea Lately.”
He also did an impromptu appearance in a New York City subway station that produced a video that created a viral blip (below).
No word yet on ticket prices for the BB&T Center show or when they’ll go on sale. Stay tuned.
