Miami's Frost Art Museum opened the Art Basel season with two shows on Nov. 8. The opening drew artists Wang Qingsong, Sanford Wurmfeld, Charles Hinman and Cristina Ghetti, along with Frost Art Museum's new Director Jordana Pomeroy, Donna Shalala, and the executive Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Buenos Aires, Aldo Rubino. The event showcased Wang, a Chinese artist based in Beijing and born at the start of the Cultural Revolution. The other exhibit was on "A Global Exchange: Geometric Abstraction Since 1950," that showcased 30 works spanning the years 1950 to 2014.
