Clint Moore Road reopened after fatal crash in Boca

— All lanes of Clint Moore Road near the site of a crash have reopened, according to Boca Raton police.

Police spokeswoman Sandra Boonenberg said officers responded to the crash involving a tractor-trailer and a car just after 6 a.m. Monday. Irving Mangel, 76, of Boca Raton, the driver of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the truck appeared uninjured.

The crash happened between East Rogers and West Rogers circles, west of Congress Avenue and east of Military Trail.

The truck was blocking the westbound lanes with a portion of the car, a Hyundai Equus, wedged beneath the trailer. A yellow tarp was seen over a portion of the car.

Rescue crews cleared the scene just after 10 a.m.
