Before their arrest Monday, Lyntavis Jenkins and Darryl Matheney showed up at Marion Evans' front door and wanted to fight, police said. Things only got worse from there.
Jenkins, 23, was angry over a text message Evans, 21, had sent to Matheney, 29, the report stated.
Police said they arrived in the area and apprehended Matheney after he ran through a yard and jumped a fence. He faces a charge of resisting arrest without violence.
Jenkins came back in her red Honda Civic, parked in front of the house, and got out. Armed with a bat, she said she wanted to fight.
Evans stood on the sidewalk with her 58-year-old father and 20-year-old sister while Jenkins got back in her car.
Jenkins then tried to run down Evans and her relatives by plowing the Civic forward over some concrete blocks on the front yard, police said. But one of the blocks stopped the car, police said.
Jenkins got out of the car and swung the bat at Evans, police said. Then she started fighting with Evans and her sister.
But then Evans turned the tables. She grabbed Jenkins' bat and used it to break the front and rear driver's side windows and windshield, police said. For this, she was charged with criminal mischief and given a notice to appear, the report stated.
Jenkins, however, was booked in at the Palm Beach County Jail, where she remained Tuesday in lieu of a $6,000 bond.
Jenkins faces two charges of aggravated assault with a weapon, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office booking blotter.
