An Aventura woman hit a security guard with her SUV at a Boynton Beach gated community after he refused to let her into the neighborhood without a picture ID, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies.
Marguerite Toroian, 41, hit a security officer with her car just after 3 a.m. Tuesday at the Westchester Community in Boynton Beach, according to a Sheriff's Office arrest report.
Deputies said Toroian pulled up to the neighborhood, and when a guard asked her for her driver's license, she said it was at a house in the neighborhood.
The guard called the home and someone said they would bring Toroian's ID to her. But Toroian didn't want to wait, and hit the guard with her SUV when the guard came to tell her someone would bring down her ID, according to the report.
She got through the gate, but then stopped her car and began yelling and cursing at the guard, according to the report. The guard complained to deputies of soreness in his knees and back.
Toroian has been charged with aggravated battery while using a deadly weapon and resisting an officer without violence. She is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
