Casino Miami Jai-Alai has high hand bonuses of up to $1,500 and a slew of tournaments in September.
The Big One is a $15,000 guarantee at 2 p.m. Sept. 8. Buy-in is $125 and players start with 10,000 units and can buy a 5,000 add-on. Re-entries are allowed.
The Alapattah Shootout, with a $5,000 guarantee, is at 2 p.m. Sept. 15. Buy-in is $100 with rebuys and add-ons. A $5,000 guarantee is at 2 p.m. Sept. 22 with a $100 buy-in.
There's also a $2,500 guarantee at 11 a.m. on Fridays. Buy-in is $60. And Thursdays have a $3,000 deep stack guarantee at 7 p.m. for $60. Players start with 15,000 units, can buy a 5,000 add-on and levels are 12 minutes.
The Crystal Queen women's poker league meets at 7 p.m. Sept. 18 (the third Thursday of each month) with a $50 buy-in for a $1,000 guarantee. Everybody can play in the 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday tournaments (except Sept. 19), which have a $2,500 guarantee and cost $50. On Sept. 19, it's a $5,000 guarantee for $50 with rebuys and add-ons.
Meanwhile, the poker room has a cross-promotion on bad beat jackpots with Fort Pierce, with a jackpot currently at about $105,000.
The women's high hand runs from Monday at 10 a.m to Friday at midnight and includes a Raspadito.
The card room has altered its high hand promotions to include instant win every day from noon to midnight in September. A straight flush instantly pays $250, a royal flush pays $500 and four of a kind awards an entry into the $15,000 tournament.
High hands from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays pay $150 every 15 minutes. That's except for Super High Hands on Sept. 11 and 25, which pay $1,000 to $1,500 from noon to 8 p.m. and $250 every half hour from 10 a.m. to noon and 8 p.m. to midnight.
Regular Friday and Saturday high hands are $800 per hour from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday high hands are $300 every hour from 10 a.m. to midnight.
