South Florida casino promotions for March 31-April 6


Every day in April, Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino (901 S. Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach, 954-454-7000, is giving away free play, with 220 people winning per week. On April 30, in a grand finale, $20,000 in free play will be given away, for a total of $250,000. You get one entry into the drawings for every 20 points earned by playing slots with your player’s card.

On Saturday and Sunday, April 1 and 2, each new players’ club member at Gulfstream will receive a scratch card worth up to $100 in free play.

Mardi Gras Casino (831 N. Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach, 954-924-3200, welcomes “Golden Jesters” from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesdays. Guests who are at least 55 years old get the chance to spin the Golden Jester Wheel, which lets them win up to five times their age in free-play dollars.

On Friday, March 31, Seminole Classic Casino (4150 N. State Road 7, Hollywood, 954-961-3220, has a “$10,000 Must Go” evening super jackpot for bingo players. Packs are available for $35 and $50. The evening session starts at 7 p.m. Friday. Other bingo sessions that day start at 11:15 a.m., 3, 4, 5 and 10 p.m. Each session has a progressive jackpot that often surpasses $100,000.

The Casino at Dania Beach (301 E. Dania Beach Blvd., 954-920-1511, has updated its schedule of weekday interactive games for April.

For “Instant Win,” the new start times are at the top of the hour from noon to 4 p.m. Mondays and Fridays and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays. That’s the game where you play slots in the designated section of the casino and find out you won when the mobile raffle drum moves your way. “Instant Win” is open to players’ club members.

And “Free Play Raffles” will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 p.m. To be eligible, insert your players’ club card into a slot machine. Each time you reach 50 points, you earn a raffle ticket for a chance to win $25 in free play. Print your tickets at a kiosk and drop them into the drum at the Bandstand. “Spin to Win” is going on hiatus. Plans are to bring it back in June.
