Be a dad-- or not

Depending on which casino they hit this weekend, dads can win a brunch buffet, cash, a home theater system and even a vintage motorcycle. In most cases, you don't even have to be a dad to win. So don't bother loading your wallet or cell phone with photos of young ones you'll claim to be your children. They're not going to check.

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek (5550 NW 40th St., 954-977-6700, will award 10 people cash and free play every 30 minutes from 12:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday during its Father's Day Giveaway. The final 10 p.m. drawing is the big one: an Indian Chief vintage motorcycle.

Ten Palms Restaurant, overlooking Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino (901 S. Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach,, is offering a Father's Day brunch buffet for $35 (12 or younger pay half price) from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Items include hot and cold entrees, and pasta, carving, breakfast and dessert stations. Reservations can be made at 954-455-6760. Gulfstream also suggests giving dads its recent hardcover book, "Gulfstream Park, Celebrating 75 Years," featuring 283 historical and detailed photographs and stories. Call 954-457-6201.

Father's Day promotions at Dania Casino and Jai-Alai (301 E. Dania Beach Blvd., 954-927-2841, include Wallet Full of Cash, which rewards up to $1,000 from 4 to 7 p.m., and a $25 in free play sign-up. If you bring dad, you'll get $10 in free play.

Casino Miami Jai-Alai (3500 NW 37th Ave., Miami, 305-633-6400, will host an electronics giveaway from 3 p.m. to midnight Sunday. Every 20 minutes, someone will win a home theater system, TV, a Bluetooth speaker or free-play prizes.
