Gordon Stein, 60, of Boca Raton, claimed a $500,000 prize in the Gold Rush Tripler Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

Stein purchased his winning ticket at Cumberland, located at 23077 State Road 7 in Boca Raton. Stein told lottery officials he plans to invest his winnings and live off of the interest.

The $20 Scratch-Off game, Gold Rush Tripler, is the latest installment of the scratch-off games. There is one top prize of $3 million and four prizes of $500,000 remaining. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.95.
