Jay and the Americans at Mardi Gras Tuesday

Jay and the Americans will perform 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mardi Gras Casino grandstand. Cost is $10 for general admission, $20 for premium seating or $40 for VIPs. A fireworks show follows. Among the band's hits are “She Cried,” “Cara Mia,” “Come a Little Bit Closer” and “Let's Lock the Door.” All ticket-holders will receive a special buffet price of $10.95 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the French Quarter Restaurant and Bar, located on the third floor of the casino (831 N. Seminole Casino Coconut Creek (5550 NW 40th St., 954-977-6700, will host the Lucky Black Cat — Jaguar XF-Type Giveaway from 2 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Every half-hour, one patron will win either $1,300 in cash or free play (alternating per half-hour). The grand-prize drawing of a black 2013 Jaguar XF will take place at 9:30 p.m.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, 866-502-7529, will give away $1,000 in free play every 15 minutes from noon to 6 p.m. Monday.

The Isle Casino and Racing (1800 SW Third St., Pompano Beach, 954-972-2000, continues its Fantastic $444,444 Giveaway from 2 to 7 p.m. Sundays in October. Fifteen players every hour from 2 to 6 p.m. win either $400 in free play or $25,000 in cash. Then, at 7 p.m., 18 players win the free play, with the $25,000 still an option.

Casino Miami Jai-Alai (3500 NW 37th Ave., Miami, 305-633-6400, has a big weekend of giveaways. From 8 p.m. to midnight Friday, two Viva Club members every hour will receive $500 cash. Then, from noon to 2 a.m. Saturday, the total giveaway is $15,000: All Viva Club members with their cards in will be eligible for four hourly $500 drawings, silver cardholders can win $1,000 hourly from 5 to 9 p.m., and VIPS can win $1,000 hourly from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
