Sunrise man collects $12M Lotto win

A Sunrise man claimed a $12 million Florida Lotto jackpot in Tallahassee Tuesday, the first Lotto win in Broward or Palm Beach county since a Davie woman won in September 2012.

Delroy Reid, 49, stepped forward on behalf of the Rolgini Revocable Trust. He chose to receive his winnings in one-time, lump-sum payment of $7,641,141.91.

It took about two months for the winner to surface. Reid purchased his jackpot-winning ticket at Vic Sunoco, located at 8291 North University Drive in Tamarac, back on Jan. 18.

And there's big money out there this week. Mega Millions is at $400 million for Tuesday night's drawing. Powerball is at $80 million and the Florida Lotto is at $22 million.
