The Seminole Casino Coconut Creek has added Mississippi Stud poker to its table games. Players’ hands win or lose against a pay table, rather than other players or a dealer.
Players ante and receive two hole cards, and then the dealer lays out three community cards. At this point, players can either surrender or keep playing for two more community cards, betting one to three times their ante.
If patrons’ hands are 6s through 10s, the bet is a push. A pair of jacks or better at least doubles a player’s wager, up to 500 to 1 for a royal flush.
The minimum bet is $10. The Seminole Classic Casino in Hollywood also has the game, and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood will add it eventually, officials said.
Seminole Coconut Creek now has 65 tables for games, with 40 of them for blackjack.
