XBox giveaway at Seminole Classic

Some people say slot machines are just adult video games, so this is kind of a retro promotion: Seminole Classic Casino (4150 N. State Road 7, 954-961-3220, will give away two XBox 360s with Kinect every 30 minutes from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Players can swipe their cards for a free entry through Saturday and get another entry for every five comp dollars earned.

Meanwhile, the electronic gadget at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, 866-502-7529, is a Samsung TV. At 8 p.m. Saturday, 10 patrons will be selected to win a new TV. Slot and table-game players can swipe their cards Friday and Saturday for a free entry and earn additional entries for each comp dollar earned or $800 bet on table games.

Isle Casino and Racing (1800 SW Third St., Pompano Beach, 954-972-2000, is running Oktoberfest FanPlay Frenzy from 5 to 10 p.m. Fridays in October. Five players each hour can win up to $2,500 in free play. Players receive one free drawing entry, plus more if they’re frequent players.

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek (5550 NW 40th St., 954-977-6700, is always big on calendar promotions, and this month it’s the 10-10-10 giveaway on Thursday. (You see, it’s Oct. 10, and …). One person every 10 minutes from 7 to 11 p.m. will receive $1,000 cash.

Mardi Gras Casino (831 N. Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach, 954-924-3200, offers Monday Night Football Cash, a drawing held at the end of every Monday Night Football Game. The earning entry period is from 3 to 8 p.m. on the day of the drawing, and it’s 20 points for an entry. If your entry is drawn from the winning team’s barrel, you’ll win $500. There’s also the 10K Psycho Point Hot Seat from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays. Every 15 minutes, a slot player will be selected to receive up to 10,000 player’s club points.

Casino Miami Jai-Alai (3500 NW 37th Ave., Miami, 305-633-6400 or has a bingo game that won’t get in the way of other activities. From noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Oct. 22, the casino will call a bingo number every 10 minutes. The first person to win will receive $200 in free play. Losing bingo cards will be placed into a drum for a second chance drawing, which will award $250 in free play to five guests at 9 p.m.
