Your interactive guide to South Florida casino venues

You hear an advertisement for a new restaurant or a familiar entertainer at some casino you can’t quite place. Or maybe you want to play poker or blackjack, and want to make sure you’re hitting the right spot.

That’s where this casino guide and map comes in. Click on the dots for the casinos’ addresses, phone numbers and websites.

Not every casino offers the same games, but every casino in South Florida features the most games allowable by state law. It's just that those laws are, well, a little confusing.

The Seminole Tribe of Florida pays the state for exclusive rights to carry live blackjack, baccarat and gimmicky games such as 3-card poker and War in Florida. No land-based casino has live roulette or craps. You’ll only find those games on cruise ships.

Many of the casinos offer great dining options. We've reviewed them at the Seminole Hard Rock, Gulfstream Park and Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.

Click on the dots below for information and coverage about each casino.

Then there's always the lottery. Powerball and Florida Lotto drawings are Wednesday and Sunday nights; MegaMillions is Tuesdays and Fridays; Fantasy 5 is every day, and Cash 3 and Play 4 are twice daily.

And check regularly for gambling news and information of all sorts at SouthFlorida.com/Action.
