Jeremy Weinstein has been named vice president of marketing at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.
He will be responsible for overseeing marketing, promotions, customer relationship management, advertising and public relations, including the 500-room Seminole Hard Rock Hotel.
His appointment was announced by Larry Mullin, COO of Seminole Gaming.
“Jeremy is a dynamic young executive with an impressive international background in both gaming and non-gaming environments,” Mullin said in the Seminoles' press release. “We’re excited to welcome him to the Seminole Hard Rock team and look forward to his leadership in taking our global vision to the next level.”
Weinstein comes from the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, where he served as director of slot marketing, managing a team of more than 30 casino marketing executives and employees.
At the Bellagio Las Vegas, Weinstein worked his way up from marketing manager to director of strategic marketing in three years, the release said. He has also served as a senior analyst with Harris Corporation in Washington D.C. and as a strategic marketing consultant for Openwave, Inc. in New York City, NY.
He holds a double bachelor’s degree in information systems and human-computer interaction from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and a master’s of management in hospitality from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca, N.Y.
He is an avid outdoorsman and seasoned traveler.
