A Tamarac Publix sold a $1 million lottery ticket that was claimed Friday -- by a 25-year-old.
Joshua Hahn, of Lake Worth, claimed the $1 million top prize in the $200 Million Spectacular Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
Hahn chose the one-time, lump-sum payment of $797,421.77. He bought his ticket at Publix, located at 8245 NW 88th Ave. Lottery officials didn't say what the occasion was that brought him to west Broward County.
The $10 Scratch-Off game, $200 Million Spectacular, launched Dec. 30, 2008, and features more than $220 million in prizes.
The Florida Lottery offers more than 60 Scratch-Off games at any given time through vending machines and counter displays at more than 13,000 retailers statewide.Copyright © 2015, South Florida
