Update: Mizrachi wins Isle main event

This isn't news to anyone who knows him, but Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi is not a poker snob. Sure, he's won World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour events, but that doesn't mean he'll ever shun a game here in South Florida.

So it should come as little surprise that he played -- and prevailed in the main event at the Isle Open Monday, besting the field of 230 in the $2,200 buy-in event. The South Florida native took home $128,000.

"It's a great feeling when you win in your own backyard," Mizrachi said. "The only cost is gas."

I'm trying to snag a quote from him, but he's flying out to California for Breeders' Cup related business.
