The Florida Lottery has unveiled a new scratch-off game that pays up to $5,000 a week for life.
Tickets range from $1 to $10 and the games began Tuesday.The $10 game, $5,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE, offers more than $89 million in prizes, including two top prizes of $5,000 a week for life, guaranteed for 20 years. The overall odds of winning are one in 3.34
The $5 game, $2,500 A WEEK FOR LIFE, includes four top prizes of $2,500 a week for life. The $2 game includes eight top prizes of $1,000 a week for life and the $1 game includes six top prizes of $500 a week for life.
The first LUCKY FOR LIFE-themed Scratch-Off game was introduced 17 years ago with the launch of WIN FOR LIFE, a $2 game. It was reintroduced in 1999 and 2000. In 2004, the $10 game SET FOR LIFE was launched, offering $5,000 a year for life top prizes. Later, the first $20 LUCKY FOR LIFE ticket offering $100,000 a year for life top prizes was introduced.
The Florida Lottery offers more than 60 Scratch-Off games at any given time through vending machines and counter displays at more than 13,000 retailers statewide.
