Arthur Peacock of Jupiter won $21,099 Sunday at the Isle Casino and Racing's $100,000 monthly guarantee tournament. Peacock was a big chip leader when the tournament, which drew 1,241 entries, trimmed to the final nine.
The negotiated chop brought him $21K; first place had been scheduled to pay $27,379.
The next eight players each took $6,900, which shows they were happy to get out of there with money just under what fourth place would have paid.
The $100K guarantee paid out $116K in prizes.
