On the next-to-the-last drawing of the year, we finally have a Powerball winner from Florida.
Powerball, the lottery game played in 42 states, yielded one winner Wednesday night for $50 million, and the winning ticket was sold in our state.
The numbers: 11-13-23-43-54, with a Powerball of 4. The winning ticket was sold at Sweetbay, 2139 34th St. North in St. Petersburg. It was a Quick Pick
Powerball has hit four previous times in Florida since we added the game in January 2009, but this is the first time this year.The winner has 180 days to come forward to claim the prize. Of the five Powerball winners in Florida, all have been single-ticket winners, meaning they haven't had to share.

Meanwhile, the Florida Lotto was a rollover and will be $15 million Saturday night. The numbers were 1-6-22-24-32-48.
