Christopher McGurran, 30, of St. Petersburg claimed the $50 million Powerball jackpot from the Dec. 26 drawing.
McGurran will receive a one-time, lump-sum payment of $32,446,463.
The Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Sweetbay, located at 2139 34th Street North in St. Petersburg. The Florida Lottery retailer received a bonus incentive of $25,000 for selling the ticket.
It's the fifth Florida winner since the state added Powerball in January 2009, and was the only one fo 2012.
The next drawing will be at 10:59 p.m. tonight with a $70 million jackpot.
