One winning ticket was sold for last night's record Powerball drawing. It was bought at a supermarket in Florida, and is worth more than $590 million.

One ticket sold in Florida has matched all six numbers for a record Powerball jackpot of more than $590 million, according to the Powerball website.

The winning numbers in Saturday night's Powerball drawing were: 10, 13, 14, 22, 52 with a Powerball of 11. The ticket was sold at 7838 Gall Blvd., Zephyrhills, and it was a quick pick.

It is the sixth Powerball winner sold in Florida, the most in the nation.

“We're delighted right now that we have the sole winner,” Florida Lottery secretary Cynthia O’Connell said. We also had two $1 million winners; those were players who picked five of five white balls but missed on the red Powerball.

Florida also has led the nation in Powerball ticket sales, partially because we have been the lone major state not to carry Mega Millions.

Winners have 180 days to claim their tickets, and by law their names and hometowns are public record. If it's a Zephyrhills resident (population 11,000), there's another good bet: The person will take the lump sum. Most of the residents there are over 65, so taking that 30-year annuity is doubtful.

Powerball now resets at $40 million.

Powerball, with a main jackpot that hasn't been hit in six weeks, exploded from $360 million on Wednesday to what had been listed as $600 million.

But that jackpot is only an estimate and after Powerball officials gathered the data on tickets sold in all 43 U.S. states, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia, they lowered the jackpot figure to $590 million. So that'll just have to do.

This is the largest amount of money any Floridian has had a chance to win. The previous high had been $587.7 million, drawn on Nov. 28, 2012. The all-time record is $656 million for Mega Millions, which was reached on March 30, 2012, but Florida began offering Mega Millions just this week.

Meanwhile, the Florida Lotto, rolled over again and will be $11 million for Wednesday night. The numbers Saturday were 1-11-19-33-37-49.
