Lee Stewart of Hollywood is closing out 2013 very nicely: He won his second tournament in two months at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Stewart won the December Big Slick Sunday, negotiating a chop for $35,233. Noted pro Eric Riley took home $20,283 and the chop ran all the way through seventh ($10,139).
The recently reformatted Big Slick, which carries a $350 buy-in, covered its $200,000 guarantee, with a prize pool of $202,200 from the 674 entries.
Stewart also chopped a win at the November Hard Rock Series. Everyone calls it a tournament win, even though it's a chop, so I'll go along with the language.Copyright © 2015, South Florida
