The High Heels Poker Tour, a South Florida based women's poker group, has a satellite tournament connected to its big event in March.
The "Double Play Mega Satellite" is at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Buy-in is $100.
The HHPT was established in 2007 by Lauren Failla of Hollywood and calls itself the first all-women's poker tour launched on the East Coast.
The HHPT Poker In Paradise Ladies Weekend is March 22-24 at the Hard Rock. The schedule:
10 a.m.-3 p.m. HHPT Academy;
5:30-7 Welcome cocktail party upstairs in Hard Rock Poker Room
Main Event Satellite, 7 p.m.; $60 plus $10 dealer add-on.
Saturday, March 23:PIPLW HHPT Main Event
Time: 12 noon; Buy-In: $240 includes dealer add-on of $10
Sunday, March 24;Day 2, if necessary from Main Event
HHPT PIPLW Bounty Event
Time: 12 noon
Buy-In $125 w/ $25 bounties + $10 dealer add-on
