Halloween may be ending, but the Haunted House Demon Mansion and Zombie Safari at Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino is staying open through Sunday, officials announced today.
That's the thing being advertised in the accompanying photo.
The Zombie Paintball Safari features "real live zombies," the press release says, and is about a mile long. The Demon Mansion is about 8,000 square feet and the 17 rooms feature the Howling Woman Room, the Maggot Dining Room, Hell’s Kitchen, Butcher Shop / Freezer, Exploding Bathroom, Jungle Room, Spider Room, Demon Dog Porch, Electrocution Room, Scary Clown Room, Cemetery of the Undead and the Redneck Tool Shed.
The Zombie Paintball Safari offers guests a trip into the 50,000 square foot ruins of an apocalyptic city where they will shoot live Zombies with paintball guns shooting UV paint.
Meanwhile, there are special Halloween events tonight, including safe trick-or-treating from 6-8 p.m. and then a dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” performed by SkyDance Studios in front of Demon Mansion at 8, 8:45 and 9:30 p.m. A block party with live music by Resident Evil DJ Maximus 3000 is also set, and an after-hours party for The Festival of Souls “ZOMBIE PLAYMATES” will take place at Martini Bar.
The events are at The Village at Gulfstream Park, the mall next to the casino. It's at 901 S. Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach.
Tickets for the mansion or the safari are $15 for children under 13, $25 for adults, with combo packages for families, students and multiple adventures bringing the price down in some cases. For event information go to: www.festivalofsouls.comCopyright © 2015, South Florida
