Glamberts, unite. Rocker Adam Lambert is heading to South Florida.

The "American Idol" veteran and openly gay singer will perform at a concert during this week's Miami Beach Pride Festival. Now in its fifth year, the celebration, which began Monday, is taking place at various locations in Miami and Miami Beach and features a parade, parties, shopping events and cocktail mixers.

Miami-Dade Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce's Spotlight Mega-Mixer: Guests can mingle with members of the chamber and of the LGBT community. 6-9 p.m. at the Shore Club, 1901 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. $5 members, $15 nonmembers. 305-673-4440.

Wednesday

"The Princess Bride" at the New World Center: Grab your sweetie and a blanket, and plant yourself on the grass in front of the New World Center (500 17th St., Miami Beach) to watch a free screening of the classic romantic comedy. 8-10 p.m.

Thursday

Mova Block Party: The free street party will take place from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. and feature DJ sets by Kidd Madonny and Bryan Zero, a drag performance by Erika Norell, and a fashion show by designer Andrew Christian. MovaLounge.com.

Friday

Fling: Practice your salsa dancing at this Latin party for women from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. at PAX, 337 SW Eighth St., in Miami. $10. IcandeeEvents.com.

Saturday

Free Beach Party: DJs Theresa and Manny Lehman will spin from 1 to 8 p.m. at Lummus Park (between Ninth and 15th streets and Ocean Drive in Miami Beach). MiamiBeachGayPride.com.

Sunday

Pride Parade and concert: Rainbow flags, drag queens on floats and tons of shirtless men will take over Ocean Drive from noon to 1 p.m. Later, Adam Lambert will close the day and the festival by performing hits such as "Whataya Want From Me" and ""Better Than I Know Myself" during a free concert in Lummus Park.
