Do you know if actor Gale Harold will return to Desperate Housewives? — M.G., Fort Lauderdale
Harold suffered serious head injuries in an October motorcycle crash. His recuperation period is indefinite but it is expected to be lengthy. ABC and Desperate Housewives have left the door open for him to return to his role as Jackson Braddock, coyote Susan's latest squeeze, at his own pace.
When will the next episode of Shaken Not Stirred on MyNetworkTV be shown? — A.C.R., Fort Lauderdale
Shaken Not Stirred airs as occasional specials. On the docket for spring at a date TBA is a roast of/toast to Ice-T.
We really enjoy the wit and perceptive commentary of MSNBC's political analyst Chuck Todd. Recently, he made the comment that he is from Miami. Can you tell us more about him? — B.W., via e-mail
NBC also was impressed by Todd's work during the election season. He has been named the network's chief White House correspondent, so you'll be seeing him almost nightly on Brian Williams' newscast. Todd, who grew up in Miami, also retains his title as NBC News political director. Before joining NBC, he was editor-in-chief of National Journal's "The Hotline," a daily summary of the political scene. He's also a contributing editor to The Atlantic Monthly.
I have been a big fan of David E. Kelley shows. With Boston Legal gone, does he have any new series? — M.M., Margate
Kelley is going back to where it all began, a legal series on NBC (his big break was a writing job on L.A. Law) for his follow-up to Boston Legal. Legally Mad will star Kristin Chenoweth as a flaky lawyer who works in a firm with her father, a role yet to be cast.
Can you please tell me if the actor who plays Eliot on the new series Leverage has ever been on any other TV series? I know I have seen his face before and just can't place it. — M.S., via e-mail
You probably remember Christian Kane, who plays Eliot Spencer, from either Close to Home or Angel. He had recurring roles on both.
I have never seen anything like Sons of Anarchy, which I thought was absolutely terrific, an on-the-edge-of-your-seat show with unbelievable characters, especially Katey Sagal's. I truly hope FX is going to bring this show back. Can you shed any light on this? — Ellen, Coral Springs
Sons of Anarchy had a solid debut season and has been renewed. It was FX's highest-rated new series since Rescue Me. Equally important, its 18-49 demographics were superior to much-praised cable dramas Battlestar Galactica and Mad Men. New episodes are tentatively scheduled for spring.
What happened to the show Check, Please!? It was on WPBT-Ch. 2 and now it's gone. — M.E., Boca Raton
Five new episodes of Check, Please! are being produced with a tentative March airdate, a spokesman for WPBT said.
I love to watch Army Wives. Is it coming back? — L.C., via e-mail
Army Wives is the highest-rated series in Lifetime history, so of course it will be back. Production is tentatively scheduled to resume in February on a 19-episode third season. There is no target air date, according to a network representative, but late spring or early summer is likely.
On Criminal Minds they call the perpetrator the "Un Sub" or something like that. Could you please tell me what that abbreviation is short for? — B.B., via e-mail
"Un Sub" stands for "Unidentified Subject."
