If you are a Fleetwood Mac fan of a certain age awaiting the imminent reunion of Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and John McVie this Saturday at the BB&T Center, well, be prepared to wait a little longer.

The rocking foursome announced Wednesday through concert promoter Live Nation that the June 8 show at the Sunrise venue has been canceled due to an “unexpected scheduling conflict.” Tour dates will resume on June 10 in Atlanta.

Had the quartet gone their own way to our neck of South Florida, the 40-year-old band would have played hits off their bestselling “Rumours” album and presented the group’s first new material in a decade, the four-track EP titled “Extended Play.” The standout in the release is “Without You,” recorded in the early 1970s when Buckingham and Nicks were the pre-Mac duo of Buckingham Nicks.

Tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase. Call the BB&T Center (1 Panther Parkway) box office at 954-835-7000, charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000 or visit Ticketmaster.com.
