Live music this week: The funk stops here

Local bands will fill the week with club shows, and Boca Raton's Funky Biscuit will close it out Thursday through Sunday with its blues showcase Biscuit Fest. And starting Friday, the Heineken TransAtlantic Festival will bring top Latin rock bands to the North Beach Bandshell, at the north end of Miami Beach. Electro-tango group Bajofondo and the electro-tropical Bomba Estereo will headline the festival. ($23-$35,

Less-funky and more-shrill music will come from Revolution Live Saturday, when late-'90s industrial-punk group Mindless Self Indulgence returns to the club.
