Snooki promotes her business at Hard Rock

Her "Jersey Shore" party days are over, but Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi isn't fazed. While most reality stars fade out of the limelight once their series ends, Snooki is now a brand — and she's not leaving anytime soon.

When I interviewed Polizzi three years ago on the set of an Enrique Igesias video, she told me she wanted to go back to college and become a veterinarian. Today, however, the engaged mom (son Lorenzo was born last August) is a tabloid star, a Twitter phenomenon (with close to 6.4 million followers) and a household name.

An author of three books, Polizzi has created a makeup line, greeting cards, sunglasses, tanning products, purses, and jewelry. Her life is a Guidette's dream come true. But her newest project, Team Snooki Music, may be the most challenging of all.

On Friday, Polizzi will host a party at Passion Nightclub to promote her new A&R company and introduce Miami singer Adela, one of three musicians she hopes to sign to her own record label.

"I feel like I've always wanted to help people," Polizzi says in a phone interview. "I have found success [with] the boxing division [Team Snooki Boxing], but have always been in love with music."

She was inspired to start "Team Snooki Music" by her fans. "People were constantly singing in my ear and handing me random CDs at my appearances," she says.

Polizzi met one of her artists, Veronica Kole, at a meet-and-greet when Kole sang for her right on the spot. Kole and Adela are joined by B-Caps, a Boston native, who sings R&B.

Although she may croon for her fiancé, Jionni LaValle, Snooki has no plan to release an album of her own. "I really can't sing," she admits, "and I don't think people would take me that seriously."

Polizzi's return to South Florida — the second season of "Jersey Shore" was partly filmed in Miami Beach — will be brief. "I'm only coming for one night, because I can't stay away from my baby too long," she says.

Polizzi, who talks to her "Jersey Shore" castmates at least once a month and will soon start filming Season 3 of "Snooki and Jwoww," is designing a new clothing line and writing a book about pregnancy and motherhood. "My mom said I was going to be stressed out all the time and wouldn't have time to even put on makeup," she says. "But he's a very good baby. He hardly cries, and he's very smart and independent."

Polizzi and Adela will appear 10 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Passion Nightclub, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, 5701 Seminole Way, in Hollywood. Go to
