The No. 1-selling duo in music history, whose Philly soul sound found a welcome home atop both the pop and R&B charts, Hall and Oates are touring during the 40th anniversary of the album that introduced them to the masses, "Daryl Hall and John Oates" (known to hardcore fans as the Silver Album). The decades may have only burnished their cultural timelessness (the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will perform at Madison Square Garden with a hipster bill that includes Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings and Mayer Hawthorne). The album released earlier this year, "Daryl Hall and John Oates: Live in Dublin," predicts a night of full-throated sing-alongs to "Sara Smile," "One on One," "You Make My Dreams," "Say It Isn't So," "Rich Girl," "Kiss on My List," "Private Eyes," "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)" and "Maneater."
