Grammy-winning Canadian singer-songwriter K.D. Lang will celebrate the 25th anniversary of her 1992 album "Ingénue" on Friday, Sept. 7 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale.
Tickets will cost $30 to $89, with two VIP packages available that offer reserved seating, meet and greets and merchandise exclusives.
Tickets will go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, June 15. Tickets can be purchased through the Broward Center’s website.
K.D. Lang is famous for country hits such as "Crying" and "I'm Down to My Last Cigarette," and for the successful pop single "Constant Craving." She has won four Grammy Awards.
The Fort Lauderdale concert is just one stop on the fall leg of Lang’s nine-city North American Ingénue Redux Tour. The first leg of the tour brought praise from critics.
Mikael Wood at the Los Angeles Times wrote, “a canny and sumptuous blend of roots music and pre-rock pop, ‘Ingénue’ sounds as great today as it did upon its release.”
Lang will feature songs from “Ingénue” as well as hits from her 2004 album “Hymns of the 49th Parallel.”
Other Florida concert dates include Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center on Sept. 8 and Jacksonville’s Florida Theater on Sept. 10. For more information on the shows and acquiring tickets, visit KDLang.com.
