The quartet that infuses emo-core with prog rock and Volta-esque conceptual albums is coming to the Fillmore next year.
This Friday, Nov. 9, tickets for Coheed and Cambria's March 8 show will go on sale at noon.
The band played SunFest earlier this year, and its sixth album was released Oct. 9. Not only does the record, called "The Aftermath: Ascension" come with psychedelic humanoid cover art and a touching, mostly instrumental opening track. The band's Web site also offers a set of videos detailing the idea behind the album.
So, go ahead, if you miss the themed style of emo-prog produced in the early 2000s. Tickets will cost $28 plus fees at LiveNation.com for general admission.
