There's probably no one happier to see the summer end than Chad Johnson.
First his VH1 Basketball Wives reality star wife Evelyn Lozada filed for divorce after an alleged altercation, then the Miami Dolphins cut Chad Johnson on HBO's Hard Knocks show and now, Chad Johnson has been axed by Madden NFL 13'.
Update: Chad Johnson is still actually in Madden NFL 13' as a free agent.
"That awkward moment when you realize you're not on Madden13 and have to create yourself...," Chad Johnson tweeted on his @ochocinco twitter account.
I'm not sure which of these three separations Chad Johnson is taking the hardest. Make no mistake, NFL or ex-NFL players dream of having their Oscar moments on the EA Sports game. Watching themselves immortalized in a video game is only second to being worshiped on Sundays.
Just ask Pro Football Hall of Fame 2012 inductee Curtis Martin. Martin, during an appearance on ESPN's Mike and Mike In the Morning television show Friday, said he hoped to be on the Madden game one day. Madden NFL 13' includes 27 legends players including (but not limited to) Emmitt Smith, Joe Montana and Warren Moon and seven legends coaches.
"Being on a Madden game is almost like making it to the Pro Bowl," Martin said. "Even though I don't really play the game anymore, I want to be on it."
Oh, it's real folks. Madden NFL is real.
