Federal authorities seized hundreds of items of jewelry last year from a Fort Lauderdale family of so-called psychics accused of defrauding clients of millions of dollars.
The defendants, Rose Marks and eight members of her family, are fighting the criminal charges and are trying to force prosecutors to return their property.
They filed these family photographs in federal court records in an attempt to prove they had the jewelry prior to the alleged crimes.
Prosecutors say the fortune tellers took some of the jewelry from their clients to perform rituals and then refused to return it.
