Music fans will be in a “New York State of Mind” this New Year’s Eve, when Billy Joel heads to Orlando's Amway Center.
The singer-songwriter’s tour is the latest in a career that spans more than 40 years, with hits such as “Piano Man,” “My Life” and “Uptown Girl” along the way. In late 2013, Joel announced an unprecedented residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where he has been performing one concert a month since January. Joel’s last appearance in Orlando was 2007 at the old Amway Arena.
Tickets for the Dec. 31 concert are $49.50-$149.50, on sale to the general public Friday, Nov. 14. Pre-sale tickets will be available to American Express cardholders from Nov. 10-13. For details, check out amwaycenter.com or contact Ticketmaster at 800-653-8000.
