A 28-year-old woman posted a YouTube video of her confronting the former teacher she says sexually abused her for years.
Years after what she says was prolonged abuse, a 28-year-old woman finally got the courage to confront the teacher she says sexually abused her.
But because the statute of limitations had passed, she would never see her alleged attacker in court, according to CBS Los Angeles.
Instead, the woman, who goes by Jamie X, decided to call her former teacher, and confront her about what happened more than a decade ago.
Jamie recorded the 3-minute phone call and posted it to YouTube, where it has since been viewed more than 700,000 times.
The alleged attacker, now an assistant principal, admits to the abuse but never apologizes during the phone call.
The woman says she was just trying to "help" Jamie and says she regrets the abuse, according to the video.
"You should be so ashamed and so disgusted with yourself," Jamie says.
"I am, I am," the woman replies.
After receiving a link to the YouTube video, the Alhambra Unified School District contacted police and released a statement saying the alleged attacker is no longer an employee within the district, according to CBS Los Angeles.
Since the video has gone viral, another woman has come forward saying she believes she is a victim of the same former teacher whose voice is heard in the video.
