A Florida mother and father face multiple charges after police say they drove their three children to a wooded area and then abandoned them there, Yahoo News is reporting.
Michael and Sarah Butcher were arrested Friday when police found them parked illegally near in RV park in Punta Gorda. Inside their vehicle was crystal meth, a syringe and a burnt spoon.
While at the jail, a report came in about three children -- ages 10, 8 and 6 -- who were found wandering alone in the woods, according to the website.
The children told investigators that their parents, named Michael and Sarah, brought them to the woods to play and then left. The children walked two miles before they were found.
