WASHINGTON -- Only weeks ago, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., labeled "Obamacare" a "disaster" and for years he's been one of the law's leading opponents.

Now, he's signing up.

A Rubio spokeswoman confirmed this afternoon that the Obamacare critic and 2016 presidential hopeful was joining the controversial health insurance program.

"He has enrolled through the DC exchange for coverage for him and his family. Senator Rubio is following the law, even though he opposes it," said the spokeswoman, Brooke Sammon.
