Three new water attractions have opened quietly in South Florida this summer.

Two are challenge courses meant to test the “American Ninja Warrior” skills of visitors ages 7 and older who are capable swimmers.

Broward College’s Tigertail Aqua Challenge, at Tigertail Lake Recreational Center in Dania Beach, is an 8,000-square-foot inflatable water obstacle course and playground on the lake. It has a climbing wall with a slide, a trampoline, a bouncing dome and a catapult with a 16-foot swing. It is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week at 580 Gulf Stream Way in Dania Beach, and sessions cost $20 for a 15-minute safety briefing and 45 minutes of play. Visitors can reserve online at broward.edu/ttl.

The larger Aqua Park at Greg Norman’s Shark Wake Park in West Palm Beach is a Witbit park on Lake Okeeheelee. It covers an acre (about 40,000 square feet) and includes monkey bars, climbing towers, slides, balance and bounce elements, and more. The Aqua Park is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, and 45-minute sessions cost $25 if purchased online at sharkwakepark.com/561/aqua-park/ and $30 at the park. Double sessions are an extra $10.

The Aqua Park is part of the larger Shark Wake Park at Okeeheelee Park, 7715 Forest Hill Blvd., that will open later in the year with two cable ski parks, a pro shop and a Shark Shack that will serve food and drinks.

The third attraction is NeoSplash Water Park at Jungle Island, an inflatable water park with pools and slides for children of all ages. NeoSplash includes a 65-foot-high slide for bigger thrills, as well as smaller water elements for younger ones. NeoSplash will be at Jungle Island from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Labor Day. NeoSplash is included with regular admission to Jungle Island. jungleisland.com
