Española Way video

Española Way is enjoying a renaissance after the city of Miami Beach invested $2.5 million for a makeover, including turning the restaurant, bar, hotel and retail enclave into a pedestrian-only street. "I think people are responding better and better to pedestrian streets," says Scott Robins, the developer of Española Way since the early 1990s. "They feel safe. The retail stores and restaurants are right across from each other. Their kids can play in the street without [parents] worrying."
